 Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas completed a two-day visit in Berlin on November 9. He held meetings with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle, the head of the SPD Parliamentary Group, Frank Walter Steinmeier, as well as with Green Party Co-chair, Cem Özdemir.
On his part, Droutsas assured "that the Greek government is going to continue the course of reforms that it is implementing with the same seriousness as it has done to date," noting that the result of the recent local elections is an expression of support by the Greek people for the reform programme.
