There is ongoing coordination between EU Embassies in Thailand and ongoing communication with the Thai authorities. The security situation remains unchanged at the moment. According to estimates, foreigners in Bangkok are still in no danger.
There are continuing difficulties with regard to the departure of flights, as the two international airports are still not in operation. A limited number of commercial flights are taking place in nearby airports.
Dispatching a military C-130 aircraft is still considered last resort. What is of the essence is for Greek citizens wishing to depart to return to Greece as quickly and safely as possible. Within this framework, our Embassy is in ongoing communication with airlines in order to ensure the return of Greek citizens through Puket airport, which is still in operation. Source: MFA
