After a relevant request by the European Union Centre for Crisis Management, Greece stated its intention and readiness to send, if needed, a military C-130 transport aircraft to the region where the terrorist attacks took place in India in order to carry injured persons to Greece.
The appropriate actions have begun for adapting the aircraft to meet needs in this mission. These actions are expected to be concluded in three hours.
With the completion of the work on the aircraft, it will be ready, if needed, to depart for its destination. If there are new developments a relevant announcement will be made. Source: MFA
