Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis arrived in Bratislava, Slovakia, late Wednesday afternoon and met with the country's Prime Minister, Robert Fico, for talks on bilateral and European issues.

The prime minister arrived in Bratislava to participate in the 10th Dialogue of the Parliamentary Group of the European People's Party and the Orthodox Church on Thursday.

No statements were made after the meeting with Fico.

Karamanlis has been a basic supporter of dialogue between the EPP and the Orthodox Church since 1997.
